MVWS provides a wide range of services for the Non-Industrial and Industrial Private Forest Landowners in eastern Ohio. We work with you to improve and enhance the woodland environment. We strive to maintain our reputation for quality work and timely service to our clients. Spun off Muskingum Valley Nursery, Inc. in 2001, this division of our company was formed to provide forest management services to local landowners. Our founder, Jim Stafford, is a certified forester who graduated from the Ohio State University in 1976.

With over 30 years of field experience in tree genetics, bare root nurseries and timber management, Jim is available to provide assistance to meet your woodland goals and objectives. Mr. Stafford is a member of the Society of American Foresters, Association of Consulting Foresters, the Ohio Forestry Association, the Muskingum River Woodland Interest Group and the Ohio Mineland Partnership. Evan Ryan in the field as a forest technician and as office manager. She has
